As a model, Draya has appeared in magazines such as “King,” “Lowrider Girl,” “Black Men,” and “Urban Ink.” She has also modeled for various accessory companies. In 2011, she joined the cast of the “Basketball Wives” spin-off “Basketball Wives LA,” and she stayed on the show until 2015. Michele starred in the 2015 TV movie “Will to Love,” and she made her feature film debut in 2016’s “The Perfect Match.” She then appeared in the films “True to the Game” (2017), “Til Death Do Us Part” (2017), “We Belong Together” (2018), “All In” (2018), and “The Sound of Christmas” (2022) and the TV movies “Bring Out the Lady” (2016) and “The Fight That Never Ends” (2021). Draya became engaged to Orlando Scandrick in 2015, and they welcomed son Jru before splitting up in late 2019. Michele also has a son named Kniko, and she said of Kniko’s father, “At 17 years old I got pregnant by a man who became incarcerated for 10 years when I was 7 months pregnant. With help from my mom, I was able to survive.” Draya previously dated Los Angeles Lakers point guard Javaris Crittenton, singer Chris Brown, and rapper Wiz Khalifa.
