Some people have had “Kenough” of the Barbenheimer rivalry – and the actors seem to as well.
After both debuting on Friday, July 21 last summer, the two award-winning films have been pitted against each other. The opposition continued into tonight’s 96th annual Academy Award when Oppenheimer’s Emily Blunt and Barbie’s Ryan Gosling presented an award on stage, where the duo acknowledged the feud head on.
While Ryan said he was happy to be able to finally put the Barbenheimer rivalry behind them, Emily clap backed with a savage joke.
Other fans’ focus couldn’t be further away from Barbieland, which is why thousands of protestors blocked traffic and forced the celebrities to walk to the affair calling for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
Many celebrities wore pins to support the cause and Zone of Interest Director Jonathan Glazer acknowledged the humanitarian crisis while accepting his award for the international Holocaust film.

While presenting an award, Emily and Ryan acknowledged the elephant in the room.
“The way this award season has turned out – it’s not much of a rivalry,” she said, with Ryan feigning shock and audience members bursting out into laughter.
Oppenheimer led the pack, earning 13 nominations, where as Barbie is up for 9 awards.
He replied, “It’s true – you guys are doing very well. Congratulations.” However, he going down without a fight.
“I figured out why they call it ‘Barbenheimer’ and they didn’t call it ‘Oppenbarbie,’” he said to her. “I think you guys are the tail end of that cause you were riding Barbie’s coattails all summer.”
She jokingly replied that he was “Kensplaining” the definition to her before going on to present the award.
Many fans took to social media to say “Keneough” with the Barbieheimer jokes.
“MARGOT LAUGHING AT RYAN GOSLING AND EMILY BLUNT JOKE FOR BARBIEHEIMER AT THE #Oscars2024,” one fan noticed.
“Just let it go already…” another said.
Another added: “Something else please”
“That’s a cheeky reply,” another said.
