Two years after they split up, Married At First Sight UK stars Marilyse Corrigan and Franky Spencer have sparked rumours they’re back together. Marilyse, 39, tied the knot with Franky, 48, back in 2021 on the Channel 4 show but they parted ways just before the final episode aired.
The mum-of-two went on to date Matt Murray, who also appeared in the series, but they split up in March this year. Now it looks like a reunion could be on the cards for Marilyse and Franky as she shared a cosy snap of the pair on her Instagram.
Personal trainer Marilyse posted a photo for her 138,000 followers to see as she sparked speculation of a reunion for the two. In the photo, military man Franky is all suited and booted with a bow tie and suit, while Marilyse looks stunning in a navy blue dress as she smiles for the camera.
She captioned the picture: “Someone I respect so much @fitcoachfranky.” Fans of the show rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts on the reunion and told the pair to get back together.
One viewer said: “Awww hope it’s not out of place but I always think you two should give it another go… you seem so good together, it’s all in the vibes xx.”
Another fan pleaded: “Please get back together,” alongside a red and blue heart emojis.
A third added: “Wow you look so good together, life’s too short xx.”
Meanwhile a fourth wrote: “Will you both just get together already.”
After the show ended, Marilyse revealed it was a mutual decision to end their relationship after they decided they were better off as pals.
She told The Sun: “It’s really sad as we got on really well and Franky has a heart of gold.
“I saw a lot of Franky and that probably spoiled it because we spent too much time together.
“Eventually things just went a bit dry and we ended up being more like friends than people in a relationship.”
Once the Channel 4 show finished, Franky planned his return to the UK from Dubai, where he was based, as he looked for jobs in Leeds.
