Fra Fee was born on the 20th of May 1987, in  Dungannon, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, the United Kingdom. Fra Fee appeared as Nemorino in several productions at Belfast’s Grand Opera House in collaboration with the Welsh National Opera, including The Beggar’s Opera, The Mikado, Sweeney Todd, and a production of The Elixir of Love directed by John Doyle.

In 2004, he appeared as a guest soloist in Irish tenor Ronan Tynan’s “The Impossible Dream” concert in Dublin. He was cast as Billy Kostecki in the West End production of “Dirty Dancing” shortly after graduating from the Royal Academy of Music.

From June 2011 to June 2012, he played Jean Prouvaire as well as Marius and Enjolras in Les Misérables at the Queen’s Theatre in London. He appeared in Stephen Sondheim’s Follies at the Toulon Opera in March 2013, before moving on to play Robbie in A Man of No Importance at the Salisbury Playhouse.

He made his Shakespeare debut as Romeo in Wayne Jordan’s Romeo and Juliet at Dublin’s Gate Theatre from March to May 2015. On August 25, 2018, he played Chip in John Wilson’s production of Leonard Bernstein’s On The Town at the Royal Albert Hall, following two weeks earlier as one of the Jets in John Wilson’s production of West Side Story.

He took over the role of The Emcee in Cabaret at The Playhouse Theatre on March 21, 2022, alongside Amy Lennox.

In 2012, he appeared as Courfeyrac in the Tom Hooper’sepic period musical film “Les Misérables.” For the role in the movie, he got positive feedback and recognition. He played the role of Jim in the 2019 comedy-film “Animals.”

The film is an adaptation of Emma Jane Unsworth’s same-titled novel directed by Sophie Hyde, starring alongside Holliday Grainger and Alia Shawkat. Filming took place in Dublin and premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.

He plays William Bogue in Chris Baugh’s 2020 Irish horror-comedy Boys From County Hell, which premiered at the TriBeCa Film Festival in 2020. Moreover, he co-stars with Alec Baldwin, Olivia Cooke, and Ben Hardy in the Irish Western Thriller “Pixie” as Fergus.

In the 2021 Disney+ series “Hawkeye” he played the role of Kazimierz “Kazi” Kazimierczak. That same year, he was seen playing the role of Dominic Swayne in the British crime TV series “Dalgliesh.”

He has also provided his voice to the character Harry Huffman in the 2022 animated comedy-drama film “Scrooge: A Christmas Carol.” Similarly, he is currently working on the upcoming film “Rebel Moon: Part One – A Child of Fire” which is currently in post-production.
