During the 2005-06 season, Ha Seung-jin had a brief stint with the NBA D-League’s Fort Worth Flyers.

In July 2006, traded to the Milwaukee Bucks as part of a four-player deal. Then, he joined the Anaheim Arsenal of the NBA Development League in December 2006. After his NBA career, he returned to South Korea and signed with the Jeonju KCC Egis in the Korean Basketball League (KBL) in 2008. He experienced success with the team, winning the KBL Championships in 2009 and 2011, with Ha earning the playoffs MVP in the latter.

Following the 2018-19 season, he became a free agent and made the decision to retire from professional basketball. Throughout his career, he also represented the South Korean national basketball team, participating in competitions such as the 2009 FIBA Asia Championship, 2010 Asian Games, and 2011 FIBA Asia Championship.
