Janelle & Kody Brown Call Truce On Bitter Feud To Confirm & Grieve Son Garrison’s Death

Janelle and Kody Brown’s relationship took a nasty turn shortly before their split. During a 2023 episode of “Sister Wives,” Janelle and Kody came to blows while discussing their lack of communication and Kody’s lingering resentment about his strained relationship with his sons, Gabe Brown and Garrison Brown, which stemmed from their disapproval over his strict rules during the COVID-19 pandemic. “I don’t expect you to back me up anymore. I’m not gonna look for it, I’m not gonna ask for it,” said Kody. “I don’t expect you to try and help us co-parent the kids. That’s too late, we’re never going to do that. So what partnership do we have?” The conversation ended with Janelle saying “f*** you” to Kody.

In November 2022, Janelle revealed she had no regrets regarding her decision to leave Kody. “Kody and I have separated and I’m happy, really happy,” Janelle said during “Sister Wives: One on One” (via People). “I don’t know, things just really became sort of indifferent, like I just didn’t care anymore.” She continued, “I’ve kind of mourned that that part of our life is gone. I wasn’t heartbroken. It wasn’t heartbreaking for me like it was for Christine [Brown],” referring to another of Kody’s former partners.”It was just kind of like, I just mourned that that life was gone…. We had this great run.”
