Jax Taylor spoke about the unresolved issues he experienced with Lisa Vanderpump following his December 2020 departure from Vanderpump Rules during an interview on Monday.

While promoting his upcoming debut on E!’s House of Villains, Jax, 44, offered an update on his relationship with his former boss while also expressing interest in joining the Real Housewives franchise with his wife Brittany Cartwright, 34, and shading Jet Blue on his Instagram Story.

“Good news everyone my seat works properly! See you soon Boston,” Jax wrote in the caption of his October 9 post, shading Jet Blue while aboard a United Airlines flight.

As Pump Rules fans may have heard, Jax was blamed for a flight delay earlier this week after his Jet Blue flight was forced to turn around on the runway.

“It made the plane two-and-a-half hours late because they were already on the runway, and it was raining,” an annoyed insider told Page Six on October 8.

But in response, a rep for Jax clarified that it was not his fault.

“The plane did not come back [to the gate] due to any uproar,” the rep clarified. “His seat was in the bed position in first class, and the plane is unable to take off if it is not upright. He was not able to sit in that seat. It was not working. It was not his fault that the seat wouldn’t move from the bed position.”

As he traveled to New York for an appearance and then moved on to Boston, Jax spoke to Us Weekly on October 9 about his relationship with Lisa, 63.

“[We are] great. Everything’s good. We had some unresolved issues. We kind of lost contact a little bit during the pandemic and everything — [with] the way I exited the show. But everything’s OK now. Everything looks good,” he confirmed, noting that he’s extended an invite to Lisa in hopes of having her visit his new sports bar, Jax’s Studio City, which opened its doors to the public earlier this month.

“I talked to her a couple times. I talked to her a couple of weeks ago, but we didn’t really get into that,” he continued. “We had some other things that we had to clear up first. But yeah, I’m excited to have her if she wants to come.”

As for his future on reality TV, Jax, who is expected to return to Pump Rules for season 11, said he’d love to be cast on the Real Housewives.

“I [would] like to eventually be on the Housewives franchise. That would be really, really cool … The two shows that I watch now, they’re basically based on single people [such as] Love Island and all that,” he said. “But yeah, I’d probably say Housewives. I think that’s more my avenue.”

In addition to the Real Housewives, Jax is interested in appearing on FOX’s Special Forces, which Tom Sandoval, 40, is on currently.

“I watched that. I saw the background on that and I would like to do that. I guess if you’re going to go to a competition, that’s the one I would probably do,” he noted.

House of Villains premieres on Thursday, October 12, at 10/9c on E!

No word yet on a premiere date for the Vanderpump Rules spinoff.
