He also went into detail about his workout regimen. “I’m doing two to three miles a day, four to six days a week. I’m doing 20 to 30 minutes in the sauna, six minutes in a cold plunge every day,” the musician explained, adding he’s also switching his food habits by “eating healthy right now.”

Though he’s proud of what he’s accomplished thus far, Jelly Roll said he’s not stopping yet, as he hopes to lose even more weight, more than he’s lost so far. “I feel really good,” he explained “I was thinking, I plan on losing another 100, 100-and-something [pounds]. If I feel this good down this weight, man, I can only imagine what I’m going to feel like by the time I go on tour.”

Last year, the country star opened up about the positive impact shedding weight has had on his mental health. “I don’t even have a goal when it comes to health,” he said in November. “I just want to keep doing the right thing and feeling better. I’m starting to find a will to live and I wanna lean into that, that’s it. I just want to be happier.”

“Weight is normally directly related to mental health, so I’m trying to get that under control and the rest is following that,” he continued.

Losing weight is known to affect mental health positively, as studies suggest a correlation between weight loss and improved mood, reduced symptoms of depression, and enhanced self-esteem.

Additionally, shedding excess pounds can lead to a multitude of health benefits, including lowered risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease, improved mobility and joint health, increased energy levels, better sleep quality, and a boost in overall confidence and well-being.

Jelly Roll, renowned for his distinctive blend of rap, country, and rock music, has carved a unique niche in the music industry. His top projects include albums like “A Beautiful Disaster,” “Goodnight Nashville,” and “Sobriety Sucks.”

With tracks that resonate with themes of addiction, redemption, and perseverance, Jelly Roll has amassed a dedicated fan base and earned critical acclaim for his storytelling and musical versatility, solidifying his status as a powerhouse in the rap and country crossover genre.

There’s been concern and criticism over the singer’s weight in past years, but Jelly has made it clear his health journey is for no one but himself. Now, Jelly Roll’s candidness about his weight and overall health is sure to win fans over even more, as he continues being raw and authentic with his audience.
