Jennifer took a moment to address recent rumors that she’s had surgery on her eyelids to make her eyes appear bigger. However, she says it’s all just clever makeup, referring to her makeup artist Hung Vanngo as a “plastic surgeon, because everybody in the last few months since I’ve been working with him is convinced that I had eye surgery.”

“I didn’t have eye surgery. I’m doing makeup,” she clarified.

Lawrence, 33, went on to open up about the criticism she’s received over the years for her changing looks, which the No Hard Feelings star chalks up to growing up in the spotlight. Her break-out role was as Katniss in the Hunger Games, but Jennifer was only 20 years old when the franchise catapulted her into fame.

“I started at 19, so I get the before and after pictures from when I’m 19 to 30 and I’m like, ‘I grew up. I lost baby weight in my face, and my face changed because I’m aging,’” she explained. “Everybody thought I had a nose job, and I’m like, ‘I’ve had the exact same nose. My cheeks got smaller. Thank you for bringing it up.’”

While Jennifer didn’t comment on whether she’s has or will go under the knife, a source told Life & Style that she’s open to it and doesn’t see cosmetic enhancements as negative.

“She just gets annoyed when people accuse her of getting work done on her face, which isn’t true,” the source said. “That’s not to say she wouldn’t get some nip/tuck in the future. She says nothing’s wrong if it makes you happy.”

While speaking to Interview, Kylie opened up about her decision to have plastic surgery at a young age. Though she took years to acknowledge it, Kylie started getting lip fillers before the age of 16. She originally claimed her fuller lips were the result of makeup, including overlining. Kylie also only confirmed she had a breast enhancement at age 19 earlier this year, saying she regrets the decision, since she got pregnant with her first child shortly after.

Despite confirming to having work done, Kylie told Interview that she still gets accused of getting plastic surgery in places she’s never touched.

“I did end up getting lip fillers, but it’s also the same with me. I’ll see before and after photos when I’m 12 years old versus 26 and my eyebrows are filled differently,” Kylie explained. “I have contour on. I’m like, ‘How can you compare my 12-year-old face and say I’ve gotten my jaw shaved and eyelids removed?’ I’m like, ‘What are we talking about?’”

If one thing is for sure, Hollywood has high beauty standards for everyone.
