Kanye West is continuing to cause controversy. This time, he’s the subject of a new lawsuit that claims he exposed employees to dangerous working conditions as he attempted to make his Malibu mansion into a bomb shelter.

The rapper is being sued over allegations of insufficient accommodations for staff, who were allegedly made to sleep in improvised conditions at the under-construction residence.

As per documents obtained by The Mirror, the plaintiff, Tony Saxon, claims he didn’t have access to proper sleeping quarters and was compelled to sleep in makeshift arrangements with no access to a bed. The employee resorted to using his coat as temporary bedding on the bare floor near exposed insulation.

Saxon contends that he began working for Kanye’s security in September 2021 and was also assigned construction-related tasks. Photographs obtained by The Mirror depict that Ye’s employees endured substandard conditions, lacking access to beds, blankets, or pillows, while the home underwent major renovations.

In addition to the complaint about inadequate working conditions, the plaintiff has also leveled accusations of retaliation against Kanye for refusing to comply with hazardous requests.

Tony further claims that while he was involved in renovating a home purchased by Kanye, the rapper allegedly requested the removal of electricity and windows, an order deemed to pose extreme risks. When Kanye’s demand was not carried out, Tony alleges that he was abruptly told to leave immediately.

Kanye is currently involved in another lawsuit, filed by his former manager, who claims that he was wrongfully terminated without proper pay and is now seeking $4.5 million of dollars in damages.

Last December, the ex-manager, Tomas St. John, filed a complaint with the court, alleging that he’s difficulty tracking down Kanye in order to serve him with legal documents related to a lawsuit he initiated in October.

The Yeezy founder reportedly enlisted Thomas as his Senior Financial Advisor and Chief Financial Officer under an 18-month agreement. They established a monthly salary along with a $300,000 retainer fee as part of their arrangement.

However, Thomas claims he was abruptly terminated just a few months into the contract, in violation of the agreement. As a result, he is now pursuing what he believes he is rightfully owed. This includes $900,000 for the work completed to date, $3.6 million for the remainder of the contract, and punitive damages.

Despite initiating the lawsuit several months ago, the business manager has been unable to proceed with it due to his legal team’s inability to serve Kanye with the necessary legal documents. In a more recent report, it was revealed that Kanye and his partner Bianca Censori have been actively avoiding his attorneys, even though he’s facing a myriad of lawsuits.

The couple are currently touring Italy, where they’ve caused a series of controversy, largely thanks to scantily clad outfits and inappropriate behaviors. The pair were banned from a boat company after NSFW photos surfaced of them on a water taxi. There are also reports that Kanye and Bianca are under police investigation after causing uproar amongst locals.
