Kate Moss marked her milestone 50th birthday with a celebration in Paris, followed by an age-defying photoshoot for pal Charlotte Tilbury, where the British model channelled Hollywood icon, Marilyn Monroe.
The beauty entrepreneur boasts that she has built a billion-pound brand over the years, and Croydon-born Kate has long been a fan, after becoming one of the first models ever to wear her makeup on the red carpet.
Charlotte first met Kate on a magazine photoshoot at the height of her fame in the 1990s and quickly declared her a “beauty icon”, leading to the pair going on to work together regularly and build a firm friendship.
In her latest shoot for Charlotte’s make-up collection, Kate donned a red satin strapless dress and matching long gloves, accessorised by diamond bracelets, while she outstretched her arms in a scene, reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe in the 1953 film Gentleman Prefer Blondes.
The age-defying model, whose hair was styled into vintage-inspired waves, was surrounded by six male admirers for the glitzy shoot, while in a solo shot, and she was als oseen applying Charlotte’s signature lipstick.
Meanwhile, Charlotte was also present for Kate’s 50th birthday bash last week, which began at the iconic Ritz Hotel in Paris and then moved on to the hip Restaurant Laurent, an upscale eatery housed in an Art Deco mansion.
