Kristen Doute took aim at Pandora Sabo, the daughter of Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd, during a recent episode of her podcast.
While looking back at a recent run-in the two of them had a birthday party, the Vanderpump Rules star, 40, slammed Pandora, 37, for speaking in a “fake” British accent — but only when she’s with her parents, Lisa, 63, and Ken, or on television.
“When Pandora’s talking to me at the birthday party, you go, ‘Oh my God, I hear her slipping in and out of the accent,’” Kristen told her boyfriend and co-host Luke Broderick on Sex, Love and What Else Matters, as heard in a clip from Page Six shared by Bye Wig Hello Drama on Instagram.
According to Kristen, Pandora, who welcomed son Theodore with husband Jason Sabo in November 2021, only uses her accent at certain times — and there may be a reason for her doing so that she doesn’t understand.
“She doesn’t use the accent unless she’s with her parents and maybe it’s like a thing they have that I don’t know about, like a respect thing, or, I don’t know what it is but I’m just saying, Pandy, I love you, but the accent only comes out when you’re on TV or you’re with your parents,” she stated.
Kristen then offered an update on where she and Pandora stand with one another today before calling out the “fake” accent.
“I love Pandora. We’re not as close as we used to be but I can’t handle the fake British accent,” she admitted.
As Pump Rules fans may know, Kristen returned to the series for season 10 earlier this year and is also expected to be featured on the show’s upcoming 11th season. In addition, Kristen will star alongside the likes of Jax Taylor, 44, and Brittany Cartwright, 34, in a new spinoff, which will likely begin airing on a yet-to-be-disclosed network sometime later this year or early next year.
“It’s about their friend group today and the next stages of their lives navigating new relationships,” a source told The Messenger in August. “It will also follow Kristen and her boyfriend who co-host a podcast together. They want to try for a family and marriage and it will show all that. Jax and Brittany also want more kids and that will be shown.”
