Although she turned comments off of her “Jeopardy” departure post on Instagram as well as Twitter, it isn’t stopping fans from letting Mayim Bialik know that she will be sorely missed on the quiz show. Some fans even went so far as to compare her work on the show to the late, great Alex Trebek. “This is really sad. I LOVE Mayim Bialik!,” one fan wrote. “Bialik brought out a sense of character to the game that made it fun! She reminded me of Alex Trebeck and added her own little bit of spice. I’m grateful for the episodes we got, wish there were more.”
Others were so devoted to Bialik’s role at the helm of the show that they viewed the announcement as a foray into finding something else to watch. “Mayim Bialik announces that there is no reason to watch Jeopardy any longer,” another fan tweeted.
