A man named Thomas Weidenmuller, who sued Nicki and Kenneth over an alleged assault in 2019, had his plea for a default judgment against the duo denied by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge, as per court documents obtained by Radar Online.

Weidenmuller claimed to have been working as a security guard at Minaj’s show on March 2019 in Germany. He alleged that during the event, a fan breached security barriers and made it onto the stage. After the show, Weidenmuller asserted that he witnessed Minaj criticizing a female security guard over the incident, filming her and demanding answers. The plaintiff stated that he attempted to intervene, which Minaj reportedly did not appreciate.
Subsequently, he claimed Minaj informed her husband about the altercation, and shortly after, he was summoned by Minaj to a private room, where he encountered Minaj, Petty, and two of the rapper’s security guards.
He alleges Nicki began yelling profanities at him, and even falsely suggested that he was having a romantic relationship with the female security guard.
Kenneth And Nicki Could Be On The Hook For $700,000 In Damages
As the situation escalated, Weidenmuller claims that Kenneth struck him in the face during Minaj’s outburst, causing injury. The plaintiff claims he had to undergo multiple surgeries, including having five plates inserted into his jaw and receiving donor bones to preserve space for future implants.
Despite serving Minaj and Petty with the lawsuit years ago, they allegedly failed to respond, leading Weidenmuller to seek a default judgment of $724,000, consisting of $700,000 in general damages and $21,000 for medical expenses.
However, in the case’s recent update, the judge denied the request, citing unauthenticated medical records and excessive damages. Weidenmuller was instructed by the judge to translate his German medical records and adjust his motion accordingly. Meanwhile, Minaj continues defending Petty against the accusations, as she has done for other criminal allegations he’s faced.
