Nigel Farage has touched down in Australia ahead of his I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2023 appearance.

The former politician did not confirm he had signed up for the ITV show directly when he landed at Brisbane Airport, where he was closely followed by YouTuber Nella Rose.

However, the 59-year-old did share what his reasons might be for going into the jungle while speaking to press.

He said: “I’m just here surfing for the week. I can’t confirm I am doing it [I’m A Celebrity] but I might be.”

Nigel continued: “I just think there is a big young audience out there that watches the programme which is worth talking to.

“I have been messing about on TikTok for the last few months and you would be surprised, a lot of young people out there are interested in what I have got to say.”

Wearing a pink blazer with a poppy on the lapel, Nigel looked smart following his long flight, while dressed in a blue shirt and beige chinos.

It wasn’t long before Nella, 26, was also pictured at the same airport after also being tipped to be in this year’s series.

Beaming for photographers, the vlogger was seen walking through arrivals dressed all in black, with the star sporting a gilet, leggings and a zipped top.

Nella, who is thought to be the youngest star in I’m A Celeb 2023, didn’t speak to reporters on arrival, but instead flashed a huge smile.

She has also kept quiet about her travels on Instagram, where she boasts 914,000 followers.

But, just three days ago, the blogger marked a huge milestone, telling fans she had bought a house while posing in her new, large and pristine kitchen.

It comes after their reported fellow campmates First Dates favourite Fred Sirieix and This Morning’s Josie Gibson were spotted at Heathrow Airport, preparing to board a flight.

While no official names have been confirmed by the channel yet, the rumour mill is whirling with a mixture of potential celebrities.

Express.co.uk has rounded up the list of names doing the rounds for this year’s series of the ITV favourite.

These include Sam Thompson, Nick Pickard, Marvin Humes, Tony Bellew, Jamie-Lynn Spears, Frankie Dettori, Danielle Harold, Grace Dent as well as the aforementioned famous faces.

Host Ant McPartlin weighed in on line-up as he himself arrived Down Under, saying it was “great” this year.
