Rick Harrison’s son Adam tragically “died from a fentanyl overdose.”
“The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously,” a rep for the “Pawn Stars” personality told Page Six on Monday.
“It seems it is just flowing over the borders and nothing is being done about it. We must do better.”
Page Six confirmed on Friday that Adam passed away at the age of 39.
“Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss,” the Harrison family said in a statement.
TMZ was the first to report his passing.
Later that day, the reality TV star, 58, also posted a tribute to his late son on social media.
“You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam. 💔,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of himself and Adam together at a restaurant.

In the photo, both men flashed the camera a toothy grin while seemingly enjoying a plate of oysters and some beer.
Adam looked laidback in a black T-shirt and a silver necklace, while Rick donned a blue shirt with a pair of sunglasses in his front pocket.
Along with Adam, Rick shared son Corey with his first wife, Kim. He is also dad to son Jake, whom he welcomed with his second wife, Tracy.
Corey, 40, also posted a throwback picture of himself and Adam playing together in the bath as toddlers.
“Wax wtf I will always love you bubba,” he captioned the post.
While Corey appeared alongside their dad on “Pawn Stars Do America,” Adam chose to live a life outside of the public eye.
Although he had an Instagram page, Adam never posted on it and rarely made appearances on his famous father’s account.
It’s unclear what he did for work at the time of his death.
