Piers Morgan is no longer in the UK, having left for sunny Los Angeles, just days after he explained why his wife missed out on Christmas.
The TalkTV journalist took to Instagram to share a snap of him enjoying the good life in first class on a plane, taking off from London Heathrow Airport, with his shoes off and feet up.
The caption simply reads: “Take me to sunshine…” with a Los Angeles hashtag and a sun emoji.
He doesn’t explain why he is going to California during the festive period but it is presumably work related as it doesn’t look like Morgan is accompanied by anyone else.
Some of his 2.1 million followers replied to his post, wishing the 58-year-old a lovely trip as well as expressing jealousy in equal measure.

One fan wrote: “Travel in style @piersmorgan happy Christmas to you and your family from us in Stoke”.
Another replied: “Alright for some”, as a fellow Instagram user sarcastically commented: “Not jealous at all”.
Whereas a fourth simply commented: “Happy holidays relax and enjoy!”.
Morgan’s trip to the States comes just a couple of days after Christmas when his wife Celia Walden was missing from the festive fun.
The 58-year-old presenter took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a picture of himself with his four children Spencer, Stanley, Albert and Elise.
The family posed by their Christmas tree with big smiles across their faces and arms around one another.
He wrote: “Merry Christmas from the Morgan squad!” but fans couldn’t help but question where his wife Celia was.
One asked: “No wife in the pictures lol I wonder why”, while another queried: “Merry Christmas? Is Celia taking the picture? Camera is up high!”.
Responding to their concern, Morgan explained: “Sick in bed, sadly.”
Morgan has been married to the 47-year-old journalist since 2010 and was previously married to nurse Marion Shalloe.
They tied the knot in 1991 before parting ways for good in 2008.
He shares three sons, Spencer, 30, Stanley, 26, and Albert, 23, with Marion and had daughter Elise with Celia, in November 2011.
