Three-time divorcee Kim Kardashian had a warning for Chris Appleton before he got married to Lukas Gage following a whirlwind romance six months ago.
In last week’s episode of The Kardashians, the reality TV personality, 43, emphatically urged her longtime hair stylist to get a prenuptial agreement before tying the knot with The White Lotus star.
Now the couple are divorcing after just six months of marriage, and it seems he took her advice, with legal documents revealing the pair did have a prenup in place.
Of course, Kim was speaking from experience – she had a prenup with her second husband Kris Humphries and third husband Kanye West.
Appleton cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for their separation.

Now separated: The reality TV personality, 43, told her longtime hair stylist to heed her warning before tying the knot with The White Lotus star. He did end up taking her advice as it was revealed earlier on Monday that Appleton and The White Lotus star had filed for divorce after just six months of marriage
In the episode, Appleton video called Gage so that they could ask Kardashian an important question together, but she instead offered them advice.
‘Wait, you have to get a prenup,’ she said. ‘Can I mention that in front of him?’
‘I don’t care what you have, who you are, what you do,’ she said in the scene with Appleton before referencing her ex-husband Kanye’s famous lyrics from his 2005 hit song Gold Digger by singing: ‘We want prenup. We want prenup.’
‘Oh my God,’ she said when Gage answered the phone. ‘Congratulations. Wait, can I just give you one tip from a lawyer? Prenup.’
Kardashian even offered to draft a prenup herself for Appleton and his then-fiancé.
She said it would be ‘just super general’ before adding that ‘I think I can maybe even write it for you guys’.
However, a prenup was not the important topic that Appleton and Gage wanted to talk to her about; they wanted to ask her to officiate their wedding in Las Vegas.
