Ronnie Wood’s quiet life in £17.95million home on the edge of Royal park in London

Ronnie Wood is a member of one of the most famous rock bands on the planet – The Rolling Stones – so it’s not surprising that the guitarist’s former home is spectacular.

The 76-year-old, who has been a member of the band since 1975, owned a spectacular estate on the edge of Richmond Park in London.

The property, which is set among 2.3 acres of land and includes several outbuildings, was put on the market a while ago for an eye-watering £17.95million.

The home was originally built as a hunting lodge for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and is now famous for being the former home of Wood.

The property includes Wood’s former personal recording studio, sculptural artwork, a portrait of Keith Richards and a wine cellar.

There’s also a stunning cinema room, a wood-panelled dining room, a lodge and a separate cottage.

The separate buildings could easily be used as guest or staff accommodations.

While the building has a rich history and many period features, there are also plenty of modern facilities.

The home’s 3,425-square-foot swimming pool complex is sure to be a major attraction.

There’s also a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and multiple bathrooms as well as a tennis court, putting green and a gym.

Unlike some older homes, Wood’s former property doesn’t compromise when it comes to its eco-credentials.

A portion of the property operates via green energy technology and there are plenty of crops in the gardens.

There’s even a coop for chickens so the new owner can enjoy their own free-range eggs.

Generally, homes in Richmond don’t come cheap with properties having an overall average price of £841,688 over the last year, according to Rightmove.

Ronnie Wood’s former home has been listed for sale by DDRE.
