Previously, Russ worked as the in-house producer for the group and also wrote rap lyrics. And, all other members either rapped or wrote or did both. With new artists emerging every day, the local hip-hop music scene was filled. He and his group created their very own website named Diemon.com. In September 2017, the group created its very own YouTube and SoundCloud accounts, subsequently.

In December 2011, the group came out with their debut mix tape with the title ‘Velvet’. Later, after this explosive beginning, they churned out many mix-tapes back to back. Several rappers collaborated on each others’ singles, and by the end of 2012, while they were together.

With a single, he made his debut as a rapper ‘Corleone’. It was released on Diemon’s official channel in May 2012. Before the single first came out, he had a lot of fans due to the success of his mix tapes ‘Velvet’ and ‘Apollo 13’.

In late 2014, he created his SoundCloud account and immediately earned 5,000 followers.  With a slightly different approach to music, he was climbing towards success fast.

He also introduced cozy R&B-induced tunes and sometimes, even his core theme remained hip-hop. Therefore, many rappers from Diemon started pulling apart from the group as they started their own solo musical journies.

More About Career

Before, he zeroed in on a label, waited for a long time, and would have done justice to his talent. MH finally joined hands with Columbia Records, the most successful record label in Georgia, after many months. In 2016, he signed the contract and immediately started working on his solo studio effort.

A mix tape titled How to Rob was the last tape with Diemon that was released in August 2014’. Later on, he released two singles under Columbia, titled ‘Losin Control’ and ‘What They Want’, in 2015.

In the same year, he released the single ‘What They Want’, and became the most successful of his singles to date. The single was certified platinum by Music Canada and the Recording Industry Association of America. Likewise, his other single ‘Pull the Trigger’ was a gold success as certified by RIAA.

The album named ‘There’s Really a Wolf’ was released and was an immediate success, in May 2017. Thus, it peaked in the seventh spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Similarly, the single remained in the top 5 of several other hip-hop and rap charts. In the year 2018, he released some non-album singles such as ‘Alone’, Flip, ‘Sometimes’, and ‘Basement’.
