Scheana Shay and Lala Kent opened up about their hookups with Bravolebrities during a joint interview on Thursday.
While also revealing which Bravo stars they’ve feuded with and which they last texted, the Vanderpump Rules cast members shared who they’ve hooked up with as Lala, 33, praised the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne, 52, as “inspirational” and Scheana, 38, admitted that they’ve benefitted from “Scandoval.”
On the October 19 episode of Access Hollywood‘s Housewives Nightcap, Scheana and Lala confirmed their 2-year-old daughters, Summer and Ocean, respectively, are best friends before Lala pointed out that the two of them are quite different as parents.
“Scheana’s the type of mom where she’s like, ‘I’m gonna get them another one so they each have one.’ And I’m the mom that’s like, ’No if they can’t share, no one gets it. Lala gets the toy,’” she laughed after Scheana admitted the girls have sisterly spats.
Following a trip to Las Vegas, which saw Scheana and Lala taking their daughters to a Tangled-esque festival, Lala confessed to being faced with a hard truth about her potty mouth.
“I’m going to work on my mouth for this reason — I try not to curse when Ocean is anywhere near me but she still clearly is picking up on things because my mom was crying about her letting her lantern go and my daughter told her to ’shut the f*ck up,’” she revealed. “I didn’t know if I should discipline because I didn’t want to make a big deal about it but also my mom and I were laughing hysterically, which we also probably shouldn’t do. I’m like, ‘Oh no, she’s her momma.’”
Following the completion of production on Pump Rules season 11, Scheana admitted she is “tired” and said “Scandoval,” which saw the reveal of Tom Sandoval‘s months-long affair with Raquel Leviss, 29, truly took a toll on her.
“My OCD, my anxiety, post-‘Scandoval,’ was at an all-time high so I feel like I’ve been on this journey of figuring out what works best, therapy, meditation, and as many snuggles with Summer as possible. That’s my prescription,” she noted.
But that isn’t to say that there wasn’t a positive side of “Scandoval.”
“It’s been great for both of our podcasts,” Scheana shared. “We’ve been so booked and busy this year, which is amazing for our families because we are working moms.”
While Scheana admitted that season 10 was mentally tough, Lala said she feels “absolutely fantastic” months after the season concluded.
“After everything went down this summer and just my life in general, I was able after we wrapped — and even during the season — to kind of take a step back and look at my life and where I wanted to be in it and I feel like we’re on a good road,” she noted.
Then, as the ladies were asked a series of rapid-fire questions, Scheana named Lala as the most inspirational Bravolebrity and Lala named Erika.
“I just think what she has been going through and having to face what she faces and she’s in the court system so she’s gotta bite her tongue, she has to come across a certain way, and people who have not been in that position look at her in a certain way,” Lala explained. “When I was watching, I think it was a couple of seasons ago, I kind of understood. I was like, ’She’s catching the wrath of all these viewers, but I know what’s going on behind the scenes and she’s not given a choice.’ She still freaking shows up. She still walks around with her head held high. She’s killing it in Vegas. I just admire a strong b*tch.”
Regarding the Bravolebrities they last texted, Scheana said she talked to Lindsay Hubbard, 37, and Lala confirmed a conversation with Dorinda Medley, 58.
As for their Bravolebrity feuds, Scheana said she hasn’t had any outside of her own cast as Lala signaled to a past tiff with the Real Housewives of Orange County alum Kelly Dodd, 48.
“What’s that girl’s name who used to be on [RHOC] with the teeth? Dodd,” Lala stated. “I don’t know where we went south but apparently, she thinks I look like Gollum. And then I saw the picture that she chose and I was like, ‘I do look like Gollum.’”
Scheana and Lala were then asked about their past hookups with Bravolebrities.
“Where do I start?” Scheana laughed before adding, “[Carl Radke].”
“Mine’s just [James Kennedy],” Lala added. “I intend on keeping it at that.”
Also during the interview, Scheana teased the upcoming 11th season of Pump Rules, which is expected to begin airing on Bravo later this year or early next year, saying, “We’ve got another great season under our belt.”
