Sharon Osbourne revealed she would work around her extreme diet before losing 42 pounds while using the controversial drug Ozempic.
She admitted to trying “everything” to lose weight beforehand but would usually cave and was eating huge quantities of ice cream at one point.
“Everybody was doing it [taking Ozempic] and I’m like, ‘Well I’ll have some!’” the wife of Ozzy Osbourne said.
“And you lose weight. It does what it says on the syringe. I’ve had a gastric band and I had what they call the sleeve.
“I’ve had everything. [But] you find ways to eat around it. I’d have two pints of ice cream a day.”
Ozempic was originally intended to treat Type 2 diabetes, but a lot of people, including celebs, have found it useful as an appetite suppressant to aid in losing weight.
Sharon, 71, has now stopped using it, but admits she’s still struggling to put the weight back on, something even her doctors are puzzled by.
“I don’t know. The doctors can’t figure it out,” she told Women Magazine.
“But I think it’s just because I’m getting older and as you get older you lose weight anyway and shrink and shrivel off.”
She also admitted to having a “crazy” relationship with food. “I’m upset, I eat, I’m happy,I eat.”
The former X-Factor judge went on to reveal she’s done going under the knife, despite being open about her numerous cosmetic procedures over the years.
“[I’ve had] probably about 12,” Sharon revealed. “The last one I had went horribly wrong. I’d gone in for a facelift and it was terrible. I came out looking worse.
“They’d done something to my nose and lip and it was black and one of my eyes was higher than the other one.
“I had to go back in and they tried to put it right. God was telling me, ‘Enough now.’”
