Dorothy Stratten’s murder

However, just after 11 p.m. that night, they entered the bedroom and discovered Dorothy and Snider’s bodies.
Both were murdered by a single shotgun blast from Snider, and both bodies were naked. According to the police investigation, Snider shot Dorothy within an hour of her arrival at the house that afternoon.
One hour after the murder, Simon Hoogstraten committed suicide. Dorothy’s body was cremated and her ashes were placed at the Westwood Village Memorial Park cemetery in Los Angeles.
