Several Women Stepped Forward Speaking Out About Their Sexual Harassment Experiences With Steve Seagal
Steven Seagal has a negative history in Hollywood, especially pertaining to stories behind the scenes. Seagal struggled to get along with co-stars and in addition, his conduct was deemed as inappropriate by others. That was true for model Faviola Dadis. According to her account, Seagal sexually harassed her during an audition, and it caused lots of emotional distress in the years that followed. She wasn’t the only person to come forward, however, despite the claims, the situation was dropped by the court.
Dadis’ lawyer spoke to Deadline discussing why the case had been dropped despite the strong evidence against Seagal. He said, “The Los Angeles DA’s office recently notified my client Faviola Dadis and me that it would not prosecute Steven Seagal, who has been multiply accused of sexual assault, for her claim that he sexually assaulted her when she was seventeen years old.”
He continues, “The sole reason for its refusal is the statute of limitations, and California law’s requirement that the victim in this situation (reporting child sexual assault after the age of 21) have independent evidence that clearly and independently corroborates her claims.”
It seems like Seagal had no intent on speaking about these allegations from the past. That was especially true during his BBC interview that ended on terrible terms.
Steven Seagal Instantly Dipped On His BBC Interview When His Past Of Abuse And Harassment Was Brought Up
Seagal has been accused of sexual misconduct by several Hollywood celebs in the past. Despite all the claims, Seagal has kept very quiet about the allegations, and has no intent on addressing the issues. That was especially clear during his BBC interview, as the actor immediately dipped after he was asked a question about the controversy to take place in the past.
The interviewer asks, “In terms of your life in America, you have been very much caught up in all the allegations of sexual harassment. You had a rape allegation against you and I wonder how you deal with all that?”
Even before Kirsty Wark can finish the question, Seagal is up and gone. Wark continues, “Hello, Steven Seagal? Steven Seagal there, and of course though he didn’t respond there, he has said previously that he denies any allegation made against him.”

It could’ve been a moment for Seagal to clear up his controversy from the past, but instead he decided to remain silent on the matter. Others thankfully aren’t doing the same in regards to their experience with the actor and that includes Pamela Anderson.

Back in the early ’90s, Steve Seagal was a major name in Hollywood and box office attraction. However, as the years went by, that allure started to fade especially given how controversial the actor became behind the scenes.
Under Seige was a strong film for Seagal, and it could’ve featured Pamela Anderson in the film. However, during the casting stage things took a turn after Anderson refused Seagal’s advances.
Anderson revealed, “I remember him saying to me, ‘If you don’t do it, then that girl across the hall will do it, and she’ll get the job,” Anderson said. “And I said, ‘Well, good, goodbye.”
Jenny McCarthy was yet another actress to experience harassment from the actor after he insisted on seeing her nude during the audition phase.
McCarthy tells EW, “So I stand across from him and he plops onto a sofa that’s near a fireplace—of course it is—and taps the sofa cushion next to him saying, ‘Take a seat. Relax,’” she continued. “I said, ‘No thank you! I’m just really excited to read for this part, and I have so much energy I need to stand.’”
She continues, “In my head, I’m like, ‘Okay, here we go. Sound the alarms. This is not a test, this is the real thing. Activate all defense systems,’” she said. “But I so wanted to legitimately read for this part that I wasn’t gonna give up yet. So I told him, I said, ‘Listen. My agent says there’s no nudity. I specifically asked her and she said no.’ And you know what he says to me? ‘Well, there is off-camera nudity.’”
McCarthy ended off by telling Seagal to look at her work with Playboy instead. Quite the awkward situation, and yet another harassment story against Seagal.
