The Bachelors’ Luke Bateman, Wesley Senna Cortes, and Ben Waddel are set to make their reality TV debut on Sunday night.
And ahead of their stint on the Channel 10 dating show, the trio spoke about some of their deepest secrets, from first crushes to their sweetest indulgences.
Opening up about his romantic past, Wesley Senna Cortes told The Daily Telegraph, ‘A first person in real life was my high school sweetheart.’
The Sydney based theology student continued: ‘I was in love with her for two years, and it took me two years to declare myself to her. And I finally did at our graduation party.’
Wesley, who claims to be perfection in everything (albeit with a hint of humour), listed his three best attributes as his love for people, generosity, and a positive outlook towards life.

When it comes to laughter, Wesley confessed his love for scaring people and pulling pranks.

‘I was in love with her,’ the lumberjack and former NRL player from Toowoomba recalled. ‘We had an on-and-off thing all through primary school and early high school. I bought her earrings from eBay. I’ve always been a romantic.’
Luke’s laughter is inspired by his dry-witted father, and he shared that he’s looking for a partner who loves him and wants the same things.
