Wheeler Dealers star Mike Brewer has thanked fans for their help in trying to resolve his business Facebook page being hacked, but there’s some support he isn’t so fond of. Taking to X on Sunday, the 59-year-old said he is yet to receive help from Facebook, so has had to employ a security team to help recover it.

Mike shared a screenshot of his Wheeler Dealer page with “hacked!!” written in bright red capital letters and shared: “We are still trying to recover the stolen WheelerDealer Facebook page, Meta and Facebook won’t help! Thank you for offers of help, I have a cyber security team working hard to recover it.

“I don’t need screenshots being reminded that it’s there.. everyone already knows. Thank you.” After receiving responses from hacking-related pages, he went on to share a video shutting down their request to help.

Mike ranted: “If you’re going to contact me on Twitter and call yourself ‘Hacked’ or ‘Get Unhacked’ or ‘Hacked.com’ or ‘Mr Hacker’ I’m not going to use you am I to get my hacked account back? So, stop tweeting me saying use this person use this person, unless you work for Meta or Facebook officially, I’m not going to talk to you.

“So stop sending those ridiculous tweets saying you’ll get my account back.” Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Facebook for comment.

Amongst the comments, many more of Mike’s 150,000 followers sent messages of support, including some who had the same experience.

One wrote: “I was wondering about that new look?! Hope it gets sorted out. I always enjoy your posts Mike!”

A second commented: “Good luck! Ours was hacked and we needed to wait 60 days.”

A third added: “Get verified on X. Good day!”

Mike issued the update after telling fans he had “lost control” of the page over two months ago.

Hackers have since been posting “graphic images” with his followers which has prompted some to temporarily unfollow him.

Slamming the culprits previously, he ranted: “They [the hackers] are foul disgusting despicable scumbags and I wish all the worst for them, for doing this.

“Because my Facebook page the wheeler dealer Facebook page is for the classic car community or the car community in general.

“It’s not there to scam people or to fleece people.

“For people to come to a legitimate Facebook page built by fans over the years is despicable and I hate them and I hate the social media companies for allowing it.”

Mike went on to apologise if any of the posts offending people and reiterated that it wasn’t him sharing such content.
