Why Legal Expert Thinks Diddy Combs Could Go To Prison For The Rest Of His Life

  • Legal expert warns Diddy could face life in prison if found guilty in sex trafficking case.
  • Celebrities share negative experiences with the rapper, adding to the shocking accusations.
  • Former backup dancer Tanika Ray and Danity Kane’s Aubrey O’Day spoke out against Diddy’s actions.

Diddy Combs has been making headlines for the past couple of days as he got himself into serious legal trouble. Federal agents raided two of his houses just days ago, following up on accusations of abuse, and apparently now the case against him might turn into a sex trafficking case. While both are horrifying, they mean very different things in terms of sentences, and therefore in terms of consequences for the rapper if he’s found guilty.

A legal expert spoke about the case and shared insight into what the future might look like for Diddy if the charges were brought against him, and from what she said, if found guilty, the rapper could spend the rest of his life in prison.

With the ongoing case of sexual assault and sex trafficking against Diddy Combs, people have been wondering what that could mean for him in the long run.

A legal expert called Neama Rahmani weighed in on the speculations, stating that there was a big chance that the rapper might end up going to prison for the rest of his life.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this is another Jeffrey Epstein or an R. Kelly type [of sex trafficking] case where we’re talking about multiple victims across multiple jurisdictions over a significant period of time,” the attorney explained. “And again, these are just allegations. Nothing’s proven yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Diddy is arrested in the coming days or weeks and he’s going to have to face these charges.”

If he does end up facing those charges, it would be too serious for him to find his way around it, according to Neama Rahmani. “There’s no possible plea that is going to get him off with a slap on the wrist or probation. If the prosecutors are successful and able to prove it, he may end up dying in prison.”

She went on to explained that “if someone is convicted of even one count of sex trafficking, it carries a minimum 10- or 15-year prison sentence — minimum. The judge can’t go any lower for each count depending on the age of the victim.”

In light of the horrifying accusations, people in the industry have come forward to share their experiences with the rapper, and the conclusions haven’t been encouraging.

Tanika Ray, who was a backup dancer for Diddy in the 90s, recently shared her story, saying that she had a “horrific” experience with him that she doesn’t dare to talk about, but that she knew to “avoid him at all costs. Yes, I danced for him and kept my space. I was on the Vote or die airplane and kept my space. I interviewed him for his projects and kept my space.”

Aubrey O’Day, from Danity Kane, a group the rapper formed on his MTV show Making the Band, also spoke up, saying she wasn’t surprised this was happening. “What you sow, you shall reap,” she wrote. “I pray this emboldens all of US victims to finally speak on what we have endured. There is no ‘too soon’ on this one, just ‘too late.’”
