Channing Tatum’s performing career began as a stripper, which he later used as inspiration for the hit movie franchise “Magic Mike.”
But don’t expect him to return to the stage in that capacity anytime soon.
“I’ve got a dad bod, man! I’ve got a kid now, this is what it is,” he said when asked about joining the “Magic Mike Live” crew in 2019.
Tatum went on to explain that getting in stripper shape is a “full-time job” and adult entertainers are “like Olympic athletes.”
He added, “It isn’t just working out, it is diet, everything. It is a lifestyle.”
