90 Day Fiancé fans were recently sent into a tailspin as they feared the worst about Michael Ilesanmi‘s safety.
This came as a result of his wife, Angela Deem, reporting him missing. However, several hours later, reports have surfaced that he is safe and that he may have been on the run from Angela herself.
Michael and Angela met online in 2018. The pair was then on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days and later married in 2020. They have been seen on other reality TV shows as well. Angela and Michael moved to the United States from Nigeria just two months before he was reported missing.
According to The Neighborhood Talk, Angela not only reached out to Michael’s family with questions but also took to social media to get the word out about him being missing. Angela had not seen him since February 23rd. She was also alarmed because he left behind his cell phone, wallet, passport, and other important items. Of course, Angela’s social media content started to go viral as many 90 Day Fiancé fans were also concerned and hoped he was safe.
Luckily, the social media attention led to Michael being found. However, not in the way anyone would have guessed. Micheal called law enforcement from a burner phone and reported himself safe. However, the shocker is that he told them he did not want her to know his whereabouts. He even sent the police pictures of the identifying documents he had gotten photos of before running off.
Michael also told the police that he didn’t want his wife to know his location because he was afraid for his life. Of course, the police revealed all of this to Angela but did not disclose his location. Despite reacting to him calling the police, she has not addressed him feeling unsafe with her or if they had any previous issues that would have caused him to run away.
