Actor Christian Oliver and his 2 young daughters killed in plane

Actor Christian Oliver and his two young daughters were killed in a plane crash off a Caribbean island on Thursday. He was 51.

The “Speed Racer” star, whose real name was Christian Klepser, was on the flight with daughters Madita, 10, and Annik, 12, when they “plummeted into the ocean,” according to officials.

Their pilot and the owner of the plane, Robert Sachs, also died after the heartbreaking incident.

Oliver and his kids were flying from the island of Bequia to nearby St. Lucia when their single-engine plane “experienced difficulties and plummeted into the ocean,” the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police said.

Sachs had contacted the control tower at Bequia to report problems and his plan to return. However, that was the last communication before the crash, local outlet Searchlight reported.

Fishers and divers raced to the scene in an attempt to save the passengers but their bodies were recovered and all four were pronounced dead on the spot.

A cellphone video captured the horrific moment the plane dove into the waves before completely sinking.

The small plane was owned by the pilot, Robert Sachs, who also died in the crash. SVGPolice/Facebook

“Greetings from somewhere in paradise!” he captioned a photo of the beach. “To community and love …2024 her [sic] we come !”

Tributes flooded the comments section of his post on Friday after the tragic news of his passing.
