‘All My Children’ actor Alec Musser’s fiancée says her ‘heart is so broken’ after his death: ‘Worst day of my life’

Alec Musser’s fiancée is in mourning after her husband-to-be tragically passed away at the age of 50.

Paige Press took to her Instagram Story on Saturday to confirm the sad news, and pay tribute to the soap star.

“RIP to the love of my life,” Press wrote over a photo of the pair’s “2023 vision board.”

“I will never stop loving you. My heart is broken,” she went on.

“Today is the worst day of my life. We were so happy … You were the best fiancé I could of ever asked for.”

Musser’s cause of death was not revealed.

Earlier in the day, Press told TMZ that the actor, who was best known for playing Del Henry in the long-running soap “All My Children,” had died at his home in Del Mar, Calif.

He appeared on the show, which also starred Susan Lucci and Kelly Ripa, for 43 episodes between 2005 and 2007.

He clinched the role after winning the second season of the SOAPnet original series “I Wanna Be a Soap Star.”

He went on to appear in a slew of TV shows and movies including “Grown Ups,” “Rita Rocks,” “Desperate Housewives” and “Road to the Altar.”

“Grown Ups” star Adam Sandler also paid tribute to the actor on social media over the weekend, sharing a screengrab of his small role in the 2010 comedy.

“I loved this guy. Cannot believe he is gone. Such a wonderful, funny good man. Thinking of Alec Musser and his family and sending all my love. A true great sweetheart of a person,” Sandler penned.

Musser, who had seemingly taken a break from acting in the years leading up to his death, had still maintained a strong presence on social media.

He showcased his health and fitness journey with his followers, most recently sharing a photo of himself surfing on a hoverboard during a winter sunset.

Upon learning the news of his death, Musser’s fans took to the comments section to share their condolences.

“I’m in shock brother. You were a dear friend and will always be remembered. Enjoy those perfect heavenly waves and powder runs,” one follower wrote.

The New York native was also known for his work as a fitness model and bodybuilder which was showcased in several magazines like Men’s Health, Men’s Workout and Exercise Health.
