Andrew Cuomo takes off to Italy with daughters for holiday as buzz of NYC mayoral run brews

With Vanity Fair speculating that former Gov. Andrew Cuomo could replace the embattled Mayor Eric Adams, Cuomo was far from the Big Apple.

We hear he’s spending Thanksgiving in Italy with his three daughters, Mariah, Cara and Michaela Kennedy-Cuomo.

Sources tell Page Six that the trip is a “long-promised gift to twins Mariah and Cara for their recent graduation from Northwestern and Wharton business schools, respectively.”

The former first family of New York is traveling throughout Sicily, with a stop in the town of Messina, where Cuomo matriarch Matilda’s family hails from.

The visiting Cuomos will also see Palermo, Siracusa and Taormina, “hiking and partaking in wine tours along the way.”

Cuomo’s former right-hand woman, Melissa DeRosa, wrote in her recent memoir that Cuomo was seriously considering a run for his old job last year, but declined due to concerns about his daughters.

A source said, “Now rumors are swirling that Cuomo is being actively recruited back into the political arena by forces within the labor and real estate industries.”

Local reports suggest that he’s conducting polls in the city.” “He’s considering his options,” our source said.

Federal investigators have been probing Mayor Adams’ 2021 campaign, The Post has reported. Adams’ campaign attorney has said the mayor is cooperating with federal authorities.

The vacay is part of a celebration of two of his daughters’ graduations, we hear.
