Jason Tartick shared an update on how he’s holding up after he and ex-fiancée Kaitlyn Bristowe announced their breakup.
“I will forever be grateful for this beautiful person that was brought into my life. Beyond heart broken,” the “Bachelorette” alum wrote on his Instagram Story Sunday with a photo of him kissing Bristowe’s forehead.
“Please be kind as we go through our individual journeys to heal,” he added, thanking fans for the “support and love over the years.”
Tartick also addressed the split during Monday’s episode of his podcast, “Trading Secrets.”
The reality star also admitted he had to record the intro a second time after the first take “did not go well.”
“It’s been a bit of a challenge today and tonight,” he began, adding, “And when I’m prepared and feeling ready to talk through how these things also impact my life and what’s next for me, I will share those as I always try to hold my standard to share specifically what I ask of my guests.”
Tartick and Bristowe announced their split after four years together in a joint statement posted to Instagram Sunday.
“We are thankful for all of you who gave us the time and space to process this life altering decision as there are many emotions and changes to navigate.”

They went on to address their dogs, Ramen & Pinot, noting that the two pups will be “cared for together as brothers.”
“While their humans are no longer romantically involved, we will love and take care of them together.”
The former couple also said that maintaining their friendship is “incredibly important” to them.
“We feel grateful to be ending our engagement with love and respect for each other. It’s heartbreaking and sad to say goodbye, but our care and admiration for one another will never die.”
Rumors of their split began swirling in late July when Bristowe was spotted without her engagement ring.
After fans went wild with speculation, the reality star clapped back.
“I cannot believe the audacity of people to expect things from me when I haven’t even been able to process things for myself. Have a f–king heart,” she wrote via her Instagram Story at the time.
The now-exes began dating in January 2019 and got engaged in May 2021.
Bristowe was previously engaged to Shawn Booth, whom she met during Season 11 of the “The Bachelorette.”
