Bam Margera ordered to wear alcohol-detecting ankle monitor

Bam Margera has been ordered to wear an alcohol-detecting ankle monitor following a public intoxication and disorderly conduct arrest.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, a Chester County judge imposed a set of new bail conditions on the troubled “Jackass” alum Thursday, stating that he must wear the SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor) bracelet for at least 30 days.

If no alcohol is detected in his system during that time, it may be removed.

Margera must also attend weekly Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and comply with outpatient treatment recommendations.

The stuntman, 43, was taken into custody earlier this month after Radnor Police Department officers responded to a call about an argument between a man and a woman in the parking lot of the Radnor Hotel.

Cops said they found Margera in an intoxicated state — with his blood-alcohol content measuring 0.18 — and that he “admitted to kicking a car windshield so hard it cracked.”

The former MTV personality must remain in the Philadelphia area until his unrelated assault case — for which he will stand trial — is resolved.

Bam and his brother, Jesse Margera, got into a physical altercation in April, resulting in the former being charged with one count of simple assault, one count of harassment and four counts of terroristic threats with the intention to terrorize another.

However, last month, prosecutors agreed to drop two of the terroristic threats counts — even though Bam allegedly threatened to shoot various family members and left Jesse a threatening note.

According to Jesse, Bam was triggered after finding a text message that suggested he needed mental health treatment.

Bam told the judge that he had been in rehab in San Diego, Calif., and living with Lamar Odom, who is a recovering addict.

However, sources close to the retired NBA player insisted that the “Viva La Bam” star “didn’t want to complete the program” and tried to flee to Las Vegas.

The judge in the assault case said to Bam, “We want to make sure you’re safe, secure and alive,” to which he responded, “To see my son, Phoenix, who’s 5.”

The former pro skateboarder was placed on an involuntary, 72-hour psychiatric hold in June after law enforcement found him slurring his speech and behaving erratically at a Los Angeles restaurant following public suicide threats.

Bam’s wife, Nicole “Nikki” Boyd, filed for legal separation in February, citing irreconcilable differences.

Boyd is seeking sole physical and legal custody of their only child but is open to supervised visitation — if Bam cleans up his act.
