Prince Harry beamed in delight as he was presented with a drawing of himself with his late mother Princess Diana at the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf today.
The Duke of Sussex, 38, was given a pencil sketch by Canadian athlete Samantha Wilcox.
The drawing showed Diana in her famed ‘Elvis dress’ which she wore in Hong Kong in 1989.
Besides Diana was a picture of Harry, in his military dress, which appeared to be inspired by his wedding day.
The pair posed for a snap with fellow Team Canada fellow athlete Patrick Gordon, who appeared topless in the photograph. Harry opted for an open collar shirt and black blazer, while Samantha wore a Canadian shirt and added flags in her hair.

Samantha, from Frankford, Ontario, competes in cycling, table tennis and sitting volley ball at the games.
She served served 10 years in the Army and one year in the Air Force, where she joined the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command, where she was injured.
‘My injuries made me feel like I was inferior and unable to do the things I loved. I felt isolated and alone,’ she said.
She then decided to apply for the Invictus Games after seeing her fellow veterans compete.
‘To love something is to face any challenges that arise and in the end no matter what route you take, you will eventually succeed. Everything happens for a reason.’
It comes as Harry left two young boys delighted today after giving them each a high-five while he was being escorted by bodyguards at the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf.
The Duke of Sussex was being walked alongside a grandstand by his security team including ex-US presidential bodyguard Chris Sanchez and ex-Metropolitan Police officer Dave Langdown when the two boys held out their hands for a high-five.
After Harry happily obliged, the children – one of whom was draped in a Union Jack – jumped up and down in excitement with one raising his fist in celebration.

The Duke has been given a hero’s welcome in Germany by those attending the latest iteration of the competition he founded for wounded and disabled military veterans.
He arrived at the event trailed by dozens of excited schoolchildren who had been given time off from studies to attend the event, and his chief bodyguard Mr Sanchez led the way as the 38-year-old walked briskly to his seat in the grandstand.
Harry, who is fifth in line to the throne, also posed for photos with competitors and was in a boisterous mood today as he joined in chanting at the track and field event.
The Duke was cheered by the crowd as he took his seat in the grandstand at the Merkur Spiel-Arena along with half a dozen members of his entourage.
This year’s competition will run until September 16. Harry says he will be watching as much of the action as possible throughout the Games.
A total of 550 sick, wounded and injured former and current military personnel from 21 countries are taking part in ten team and individual sports.

Team UK, who are captained by Royal Navy submarine officer Lieutenant Commander James Rogers, has been supported by the Royal British Legion in partnership with the Ministry of Defence.
Harry revealed on Saturday at the opening ceremony that Meghan will be cheering for Nigeria at the games this year after discovering that she is of Nigerian descent.
The Duke said that while the Sussexes do not ‘play favourites’, the discovery means that things are likely to get ‘a little bit more competitive’ between the couple.
‘We’re also very excited to have new nations join us,’ the duke told the packed arena. ‘Let’s hear it for Colombia, Israel, and Nigeria.’
‘Now I’m not saying we play favourites in our home… but since my wife discovered that she is of Nigerian descent, it’s likely to get a little bit more competitive this year,’ he added.
