Bethenny Frankel is sticking up for her pal Raquel Leviss.
After Dave Portnoy called the former “Vanderpump Rules” star a “trash bag” in an exclusive statement to Page Six, he revealed the “Real Housewives of New York City” alum texted him and asked that he apologize.
“Why? What did I say about her that nobody has said a million times?” he said during Wednesday’s episode of his “BFFs” podcast.
He never confirmed whether he actually did apologize, but his tone made it seem as though that was unlikely.
Last week, rumors swirled that the Barstool Sports founder, 46, and Leviss, 29, were seeing each other after they happened to both be in the small town of Cary, Ill., at the same time.
However, when we reached out to Portnoy for comment, he blasted the ex-reality star.

“I can confirm I’ve never met that trash bag in my life and it’s wildly insulting to even be mentioned in the same sentence as her,” he said.
The dating speculation came after Portnoy’s ex-girlfriend, Colombian model Silvana Mojica, seemingly revealed they had broken up after more than two years of dating.
He also confirmed the breakup rumors to Page Six, saying, “It’s kinda wild when I just had a breakup which is hard enough to go through without hearing I f—ked that lady [Leviss].”
Leviss has not publicly commented on the “trash bag” jab. Her reps did not immediately respond to our request for comment when the insult was made.
The former beauty pageant queen connected with Frankel, 53, over the summer when she gave her first post-Scandoval interview on the “Just B” podcast.
Although she was heavily criticized for giving Leviss a platform, Frankel defended her choice before inviting her to a star-studded dinner at the Hotel Bel-Air in October.
Leviss shocked Bravo fans back in March when it was revealed that she was having an affair with co-star Tom Sandoval, who at the time was in a years-long relationship with Ariana Madix.
Madix, 38, has since moved and is currently dating fitness coach Daniel Wai.
Both Leviss and Sandoval, 40, appear to be single, though the TomTom co-owner has seemingly been back on the dating scene.
