Brandi Glanville accuses Bravo of encouraging excessive drinking during filming after ‘RHUGT’ butler sues network

Brandi Glanville claims Bravo tried to “encourage” her and her co-stars to drink alcohol while filming Season 5 of the “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” in Morocco.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum shared a series of tweets over the weekend – including one where she attached an alleged screenshot of a text from a “RHUGT” producer pertaining to drinking alcohol.

“Producers may not shove the alcohol down our throats, but they sure do encourage it even in Morocco during the day where it’s illegal to drink!” she tweeted Saturday.

While Glanville attached a screenshot to the tweet, she purposely blocked out the name of the contact in her phone, so it’s unclear who allegedly sent her the message.

“You, Vicki [Gunvalson] and Eva [Marcille] should pull Phaedra [Parks] aside to talk about your drinking game set up for today while at the spice market,” someone allegedly texted her on Jan. 24, 2023 at 4:28 a.m.

Glanville, 51, claimed in another tweet that it is “completely illegal to walk around a spice market and the shopping areas in Morocco with water bottles filled with vodka.”

“There are designated places that you are allowed to drink and it’s mostly at night,” she claimed.

However, several Twitter users came to the network’s defense, arguing that Glanville was wrong and that drinking alcohol in other venues is allowed.

Glanville also claimed their Season 5 butler “was told to flirt” with her. brandiglanville/Instagram

Despite some backlash, Glanville continued tweeting about the cast trip and claimed their “butler in Morocco was told to flirt” with her specifically.

“I asked him if he had a girlfriend he said yes, and I told him not to do it, and I did not participate. He was lovely I didn’t want his life ruined!” she wrote.

The former Bravolebrity specifically mentioned the butler after a different butler who served the Season 2 “RHUGT” cast sued Bravo earlier this year in October.

The butler, named Marco Vega, claimed he was sexually abused during a wild party at Dorinda Medley’s Massachusetts mansion in September 2021.

Glanville blamed the producers at the time of the lawsuit and has continued to profess her innocence by writing that she is “not going down” and “these producers need to be held accountable.”

“And even though I may like some of these producers, I’m not taking them off for them and this is just the tip of the iceberg. It’s time to fight back.💕💪the truth always comes out,” she teased.

“I am completely innocent,” Glanville insisted. Instagram/brandiglanville

“I am completely innocent, the producers ask you to do something. And then you get in trouble for it!!!! the producers need to follow the rules!” she wrote in another tweet.

It’s unclear if Glanville was professing her innocence to something relating to alcohol or if she was referring to her being accused of allegedly touching Caroline Manzo’s “breast area and vaginal area” over her clothes.

Glanville has since vehemently denied any wrongdoing and has even chalked it up to being “f–king set up” to create a storyline for the “Real Housewives” spinoff.

Bravo and Peacock have since delayed the Season 5 premiere, and sources previously told us the show is “probably never going to air” amid all the controversies.

However, the network and streaming service have yet to confirm the show has been axed, nor have they released a premiere date.

The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum Leah McSweeney –– who is suing Bravo herself –– defended Glanville and wrote in her Instagram Story that the network and its producers “encourages Black out drinking.”

Reps for Bravo and Peacock did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment.
