Doesn’t she know that it’s toxic?
Britney Spears shared in a bizarre Instagram post Tuesday that she recently discovered how appetizing a little bit of “poison” can be.
“I mean just a year ago I was able to drink cocktails and I’m still in shock because I had no idea how delicious food would taste with just a small spin of poison !!!” the “Womanizer” singer captioned a drawing of two women sitting in cocktail glasses.
It is unclear whether she was comparing alcohol to poison.
Spears, 42, sarcastically wrote that she is “not bitter at all” after her father, Jamie Spears, barred her from imbibing during her 13-year conservatorship, which ended in November 2021.
“I don’t find it poor decision making on behalf of my family to keep that from me for 15 years !!!” she wrote. “I don’t find it demoralizing or incredibly cruel !!!”
The “Crossroads” actress said that she was able to learn how to properly love thanks to the way her now-estranged family members treated her.
“I learned from them exactly what it means to really LOVE !!!” she wrote.
Britney concluded her rambling message by asking her 42.4 million followers, “What are you guys drinking tonight ??? Hope y’all can READ THE MENU !!!”
The Grammy winner had a falling out with her parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, as well as her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, after what she called an “abusive” legal arrangement.
In addition to her $60 million estate being controlled by her dad, Britney testified that she was forced to use birth control and forbidden from getting married, among other allegations.

While she is still on the outs with Jamie, 71, and Jamie Lynn, 32, Britney reunited with her mom in May 2023 and again in December.
The “Gimme More” singer has fessed up to abusing alcohol in the past. She admitted to being “drunk” and “bored” when she married her childhood friend Jason Alexander in Las Vegas in 2004.
Britney also shared in her memoir, “The Woman in Me,” which hit stores in October, that she and her mom, 68, “would drink daiquiris” when the performer was “in eighth grade.”
The Princess of Pop also admitted to using Adderall as her “drug of choice” when she would party in the in the mid-2000s.
“[It] made me high, yes, but what I found far more appealing was that it gave me a few hours of feeling less depressed,” she wrote in her bombshell book.
