Britney Spears may still not have been telling the whole truth about her tryst with Wade Robson — which ultimately led to her split from Justin Timberlake.
Songwriter Annet Artani — who co-wrote the pop star’s hit breakup track “Everytime” — told TMZ she was under the impression Spears and Wade’s romance was “deeper.”
“It went on for quite a while,” she claimed to the outlet Friday.
The allegation contradicts what Spears writes in her new memoir, “The Woman in Me.”
The “Oops! … I Did It Again” singer, 41, pens in her tell-all that she and Robson, also 41, “went to a Spanish bar” one night and that they just “made out … that night.”
She claims immediately confessed the indiscretion to Timberlake, per the book, and they agreed to “move past” it.
However, Artani, 47, cast doubt on Spears’ recollection because she claims the “Piece of Me” singer wrote a 14-page letter to Robson before breaking things off.
“My understanding is that if you’re writing somebody a 14-page letter, I would think that it’s more than ‘we kissed one time,’” the songwriter told TMZ.
“I think it’s deeper also because they were all friends. … I think it’s much more complicated than to say, ‘We tap kissed at the end of the bar one night.’”
Page Six has reached out to Spears and Robson’s reps for comment but did not immediately hear back.
However, a source tells Page Six exclusively that fans are encouraged to pick up a copy of the Princess of Pop’s memoir on Oct. 24 in order to get the “full story.”
Artani also recalled how Timberlake, 42, allegedly reacted to his girlfriend cheating on him.

The songwriter claimed the *NSYNC member seemingly thought Spears being unfaithful was finally his way out of the relationship.
“He probably wanted to end it because he’s this young, handsome pop star, who probably didn’t want to be tied down and here’s an opportunity,” Artani mused.
Spears confirms in her new book that Timberlake broke up with her via text, which left her “comatose” while he was “happily running around Hollywood,” per an advance copy obtained by the New York Times.
Timberlake has not yet issued a response to the bombshell stories that have come out of his famous ex’s new tome — including the tale about their decision to get an abortion.
However, Spears took to social media Friday to make it clear that she meant no harm by being so transparent about her past experiences.
“My book’s purpose was not to offend anyone by any means !!!” the “Toxic” singer wrote in a statement posted on Instagram and Twitter.
“Hopefully I can enlighten people who feel particularly alone in most cases or hurt on misunderstood !!!” she added before insisting, “I have moved on since then !!!”
