Britney Spears will “see you in hell.”
The “Toxic” hitmaker was back on Instagram Sunday afternoon after deactivating her page for less than 24 hours ahead of her bombshell memoir’s release.
Upon her return, the songstress issued a cryptic message to her 42 million followers.
Her post featured a heart-shaped cake topped with pink birthday candles and pink writing that read, “See you in hell.”
She turned the comments off and captioned the post with two emojis: “💅💅.”
Spears’ message comes days before the release of her highly anticipated memoir, “The Woman in Me.”
The book, which is set to hit shelves on Oct. 24, has been making headlines in recent weeks with excerpts detailing everything from her relationship with Justin Timberlake to her alleged secret abortion.
The “Crossroads” star even revealed she had a “drug of choice” while at the height of her partying days in the early 2000s.
She shared that she turned to the ADHD medication Adderall to feel “less depressed.”
“It was never as wild as the press made it out to be,” the singer recalled of the era when she was famously photographed alongside Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.
Although she didn’t do hard drugs and “never had a drinking problem,” Spears admitted to taking Adderall liberally.
“[It] made me high, yes, but what I found far more appealing was that it gave me a few hours of feeling less depressed,” she wrote.
Elsewhere in her explosive memoir, the “Everytime” singer confirmed the long-standing rumor that Timberlake broke up with her via text message.
Spears said she was “devastated” and even thought about leaving the music industry altogether after the *NSYNC alum ended their three-year relationship in 2002.

“I was comatose in Louisiana, and he was happily running around Hollywood,” she recalled, noting that the media portrayed her as a “harlot who’d broken the heart of America’s golden boy.”
The “Gimme More” songstress has since expressed concern over the public’s reactions to her candid revelations.
“I don’t like the headlines I am reading,” she tweeted Friday. “That’s exactly why I quit the business 4 years ago !!!”
She also reminded fans that her memoir includes stories from two decades ago, which she has “moved on” from.
“It’s a beautiful clean slate from here !!!” Spears added.
