Britney Spears appeared unbothered on social media after her estranged husband, Sam Asghari, reportedly filed for divorce.
In her first Instagram post since news of their separation broke Wednesday, the pop superstar revealed that she plans to buy a horse.
“Buying a horse soon 🐴 !!! So many options it’s kinda hard!!! A horse called Sophie and another called Roar 🐎 ??? I can’t make up my mind,” she captioned a photo of herself sitting in the saddle on the beach.
“Should I join the camaraderie and put a pink cowboy hat on 😜 ??? Either way I think I found my sweet spot with Roar 😘!!!”
Earlier in the day, Page Six confirmed that Spears and Asghari had called it quits after one year of marriage.
Hours later, multiple outlets reported the Iranian-born actor, 29, had filed for divorce from the “Toxic” singer, 41.
According to TMZ, he cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. Asghari is also asking his estranged wife to pay spousal support and his attorney fees.
He listed their date of separation as July 28.
Asghari allegedly wants Spears to pay him more than what their prenup provides in order to keep her secrets, Page Six exclusively learned.
A source told us the fitness trainer is “attempting to negotiate concessions beyond his prenup and threatening to go public with extraordinarily embarrassing information about Britney unless he gets paid.”
However, we’re also told the “Piece of Me” songstress has hired high-powered divorce attorney Laura Wasser ahead of the impending legal battle.
The Los Angeles-based lawyer’s A-list clientele also includes Kim Kardashian, Johnny Depp, Kevin Costner and Joe Manganiello.

The former couple has reportedly been having trouble in paradise for some time.
Sources told TMZ Wednesday that Asghari already moved out of their marital home following a “nuclear argument” regarding Spears’ alleged infidelity.
While it’s unclear whether there was any validity to the claims, an insider told TMZ that it was “only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce.”
The now-exes got engaged in September 2021 after nearly five years of dating and tied the knot in June 2022.
Before her marriage to Asghari, the “Hold Me Closer” hitmaker was married to Jason Alexander for just 55 hours in 2004.
Later that year, she wed Kevin Federline, but they called it quits three years later. The former backup dancer and Spears share two sons: Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden, 16.
