Britney Spears suggested that her estranged father, Jamie Spears, was in her thoughts after his leg amputation.
The “Stronger” singer shared several throwback paparazzi photos on Instagram of herself walking with her two sons, Sean Preston, now 18, and Jayden James, now 17 — and one of them also featured her dad by her side.
The snap, taken in 2008, showed Jamie facing away from the camera as Britney carried a then-2-year-old Jayden on her hip while picking him up from school.
It is unclear why the pop star, 42, decided to include her father, 71, in the carousel, as she did not caption the post.
The post came just hours after Page Six confirmed Jamie had his leg amputated last month.
“He had a knee replacement and got a terrible infection from it,” a source from Britney’s hometown of Kentwood, La., told us.
The insider added that the amputation was a “last resort” after Jamie underwent multiple unsuccessful surgeries.
In October, Page Six exclusively reported that the Spears patriarch was “seriously ill” and had been in and out of hospitals, including a facility for infectious disease patients.
Insiders shared that Jamie had “lost more than 25 pounds” while battling his ailments, which stemmed from a knee replacement in the mid-2000s.
While multiple reports claimed Britney wanted to make amends with her dad, we’ve reported that she has no plans to reach out to her dad to mend their tattered relationship.
The father-daughter duo have yet to settle their disagreements after Jamie allegedly mismanaged Britney’s finances amid his 13-year conservatorship over her, which ended in November 2021.

Britney described Jamie’s “abusive” behavior while battling for her freedom in court as well as in her memoir, “The Woman in Me,” which hit stores in October.
“I started to feel like I was in a cult and my father was the cult leader,” she wrote.
Britney also claimed her dad, who is an alcoholic, had forced her to go to rehab several times, made her get an IUD and used her success to help his “cash flow.”
Jamie has not commented publicly on the bombshell book.
Britney was also estranged from her mom, Lynne Spears, during her conservatorship, but they broke bread earlier this year. Last week, Lynne, 68, was spotted attending her daughter’s 42nd birthday party.
