Britney Spears speaks out on new memoir’s success, says it’s made history

She’s a singer, actress, and now author.

Britney Spears celebrated the release of her new memoir, “The Woman in Me,” which hit stores Tuesday, with some historic news — telling fans it’s already topped the best seller list.

The “Toxic” hitmaker, 41, rushed to social media to thank her “supportive” fans and claimed the book made history on the day of its release.

“It’s happening ✨🤓📖 !!! My book is the highest selling celebrity memoir in history and it’s only day 1!!!,” the Grammy winner captioned her Instagram post Tuesday night.

“Thank you to the fans who have been so supportive !!! Love you all 🌹 !!! #TheWomanInMe @gallerybooks @simonandschuster”

The book sits atop Amazon’s Best Sellers and Barnes and Noble’s Best Sellers list the day after the memoir’s release.

Page Six reached out to a representative of Simon & Schuster for confirmation.

Among the myriad of headline-grabbing revelations, Britney dished on her ill-fated romance with Justin Timberlake, her glittering career in the spotlight, and her 13-year conservatorship helmed by her estranged father Jamie Spears.

The “Gimme More” singer revealed that she had an abortion during her relationship with Justin Timberlake.

In her memoir, Spears says that her pregnancy was “a surprise” but not “a tragedy.”

“I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” she writes.

“But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”

The Grammy winner claimed her book became “highest selling celebrity memoir” of all time.

“I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby. I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.”

She writes that the procedure was “one of the most agonizing things” she has ever experienced.

Elsewhere in the tell-all, Spears explained the reason she shaved her head in 2007.

The singer said the drastic move was a way of combating the ongoing commentary over her appearance — but admits the decision cost her autonomy.

Recalling how she was “out of my mind with grief” at the time, the mom of two wrote, “With my head shaved, everyone was scared of me, even my mom,” she shared. “Flailing those weeks without my children, I lost it, over and over again. I didn’t even really know how to take care of myself.”

Soon after, she was placed in a 13-year conservatorship, helmed by her dad, Jamie Spears.
