It’s nice to have a friend.
Brittany Mahomes is reportedly over that moon that she and Taylor Swift have become really good buddies amid the pop superstar’s budding romance with Travis Kelce.
“Brittany is thrilled to be building a genuine friendship with Taylor,” a source told Us Weekly Friday.
“They’ve hung out a couple of times and have grown fairly close in a short period of time.”
The insider added that the NFL wife, 28, thinks the Grammy winner, 33, is “so sweet” and “down to earth.”
“They get along really great,” the source said.
Mahomes and Swift’s newfound bond reportedly began after the “Bad Blood” singer attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium in September to root for Kelce, 34, for the very first time.
The women were reportedly spotted downing shots together at a private afterparty in Kansas City, Mo., after the game, which Brittany also attended since she is married to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Patrick, also 28, is not only teammates with Kelce but they are also good pals off the field.
“The fact that Patrick and Travis are best friends makes things even better,” Us Weekly’s source also said, adding that Brittany and Swift are “having a blast and love cheering on their men together.”
Shortly after the outing in Kansas City, the mother of two and “Blank Space” singer met up again in New York City.
Swift invited Brittany to join her girl squad, including Blake Lively and Sophie Turner, for a girls’ night out at at Emilio’s Ballato in Soho on Sept. 30.
The following day, the group — joined by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman — cheered on for Kelce and Patrick from a star-studded suite as the Chiefs faced off against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.
Most recently, Swift and Brittany were seen sharing a sweet moment during the Chiefs’ game against the Denver Broncos Thursday night.

The “Cruel Summer” singer and retired soccer player hugged each other tightly when Patrick threw the football at Kelce during one of the plays and the tight end successfully made the catch.
However, it appears that not everyone is a fan of Brittany and Swift getting close.
Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole unfollowed the Kansas City Current co-owner after she was spotted spending time with the “You Belong With Me” songstress.
In the meantime, Swift and Kelce show no signs of slowing down their relationship.
The “Love Story” singer appears to have spent the night at the NFL player’s home in Kansas City Thursday night following his game and the pair are reportedly also spending the weekend together.
