‘Busy’ Whoopi Goldberg keeps leaving ‘The View’ co-hosts group chat: ‘I don’t care’

Whoopi Goldberg has no interest in being part of “The View” co-hosts group chat.

During Monday’s episode of the ABC talk show, co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin asked the other ladies if there was a group chat that she was not part of.

Co-host Sunny Hostin admitted that there had been in previous years, but told Griffin that Goldberg, 68, would “gladly give you her spot.”

“She doesn’t look at any of us,” Hoston, 55, said of the “Ghost” actress.

“I feel like Michael Corleone. Because I take myself off the group text… and then I’m boom, back! And I’m like, ‘What the,’” Goldberg chimed in.

“And Joy [Behar] puts you right back on,” Hostin added.

Co-host Ana Navarro suggested that Goldberg should look into silencing her notifications rather than removing herself from the group chat altogether.

But Goldberg defended her stance.

“Silencing y’all does not mean being part of it,” she said. “I don’t care. I don’t care what you’re upset about. It’s the weekend!”

Navarro, 52, then chimed in, adding that it could get confusing having several group chats with different people.

“See, that’s why I’m not on all of that stuff because I know who I’m texting,” Goldberg said. “If I need to talk to you, I’ll talk to you”

The EGOT winner said she’s simply too “busy” to entertain an ongoing text thread. The View / Youtube

“I don’t just be sending y’all stuff! I’m busy! I’m busy, you know,” she went on. “When I talk about those hit and runs, what do you think I’m doing?”

“I communicate when I have something to say. I don’t just be sending y’all stuff. I’m busy,” she added.

Goldberg is known for being outspoken and is no stranger to leaving the table during “The View” when topics come up that she has no interest in.

Earlier this month she walked off the set once her co-stars began talking about sexual fetishes.

The ladies discussed a Guardian advice column in which an anonymous person said his wife stopped allowing him to give her foot massages after he told her he had a fetish.

Refusing to discuss it further, Goldberg got up out of her seat and waltzed off, saying, “Excuse me for a second. Keep talking!”

“Whoopi has left the building,” Griffin quipped.
