A new era of Camila Cabello is coming.
The “Havana” singer, 26, debuted a platinum blond hair color in an Instagram video Thursday — and is about to find out whether blondes have more fun.
“it’s time >:),” she teased, unveiling her new locks after years of rocking her natural, brunette tresses.
The clip, which was filmed on a handheld camcorder, showed Cabello posing in a plain white tee and pouting for the camera while rocking wet hair, dark black eyeliner and a slick of shiny lip gloss.
An insider confirmed to Page Six Style that the brighter ‘do was, in fact, signaling a “new era” in the Fifth Harmony alum’s music career.
Hairstylist Nikki Lee used L’Oreal Paris’ Feria Power Toner in Icy Blonde ($10) to get the look, according to a press release from the brand obtained by Page Six Style.
“Camila wanted a big moment for 2024 and what bigger moment than her going platinum blonde! A color she has never been before!,” Lee said in the release.
“Our promise to each other was we could do it, but only if we kept her hair as healthy as possible. We got her to this color with 3 appointments. When going from almost black hair to platinum blonde hair it’s important to be patient and understand that it’s a process.”
Fans were quick to jump in the comments section, expressing their shock at her bold look.
“THERE SHE ISSSSSS,” one fan wrote, while another chimed in, “Blonde bombshell pop star era incoming 🙌.”
“She’s coming 🔥,” a third follower wrote, with another saying they were “screaming crying throwing up.”
Others likened her to fellow pop stars Sabrina Carpenter and Christina Aguilera.
“🔥I FEEL like we are gonna get a STRIPPED xtina type ERA😮🤩,” one fan theorized.
Even Miami nightlife kingpin Dave Grutman chimed in, “Finally let the blonde out of the bag.”
The songstress was most recently spotted hanging out with Grutman’s pal, Drake, while vacationing in Turks and Caico.
The “Señorita” singer and the “God’s Plan” rapper, 37, were filmed giggling and standing close to each other at the outdoor dive bar, Noah’s Ark Beach Club, according to videos obtained by Pop Crave last month.
Blind item Instagram account Deuxmoi also shared a photo of the two chatting, with the anonymous tipster claiming that they appeared to be “dating.”

Another snap shared by the outlet shows Drake and Cabello separately coasting along the crystal clear water on jet skis.
It remains unclear whether the couple were romantically involved, or perhaps just collaborating on new music
Cabello dated fellow singer Shawn Mendes for two years before announcing their breakup in November 2021.
They rekindled their romance in 2023, but split again after a few months.
