Cardi B will not be charged in mic-throwing incident

Cardi B will not face charges for throwing a microphone at a fan.

“This afternoon we were notified by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept., that as a result of their investigation, there will be NO charges against Cardi,” the “Bodak Yellow” rapper’s lawyers, Drew Findling, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, told TMZ Thursday.

“On behalf of Cardi, we appreciate the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept’s diligent and prompt resolution of this matter.”

Shortly after, the “WAP” rapper took to Twitter to celebrate the news.

“Remember …..,” she tweeted Thursday, along with a picture of two Jewish men walking in the street, seemingly referring to her lawyers, who are Jewish.

In the replies, her fans pointed out the lyrics to Cardi’s 2018 hit “Bickenhead,” in which she rapped, “Lawyer is a Jew he gon’ chew up all the charges.”

The probe comes nearly a week after Cardi, 30, was doused with a drink during her performance at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas.

After a moment of shock, the Grammy winner subsequently flung her microphone at the concertgoer, according to a viral video shared on TikTok Sunday.

Security then intervened and escorted the woman out of the event.

Another video later surfaced where Cardi actually encouraged the audience to “splash” water “in [her] p—y” before the incident took place.

“That s–t feels good,” the mom of two said while bending over as the fans splashed her.

The woman who was struck with the mic reported the incident to the Las Vegas Metro PD and, per TMZ, she was not the one who threw the drink. Instead, she was hit by mistake because the actual culprit was standing next to her.

The microphone that was involved in the incident is now being auctioned for charity on eBay by Scott Fisher — whose company provided audio support for the show.

“If you want a piece of hip hop infamy and what has now become national and world news then please bid whatever you are willing to spend….thanks,” Fisher wrote on the listing.

As of Thursday afternoon, the mic had a high bid of more than $99,000.
