Carole Radziwill claimed that Donald Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen was the person who took the bombshell photo of Luann de Lesseps’ then-fiancé, Tom D’Agostino, cheating on her in 2016.
The journalist claimed that she was out to dinner with a friend around six months ago when Cohen sat down and claimed that he was at The Regency when D’Agostino kissed another woman and snapped the pic that Bethenny Frankel eventually showed to De Lesseps on Season 8 of “The Real Housewives of New York City.”
“We started talking about Tom or the wedding and he’s like, ‘Oh please, of course, I know Tom, who do you think took the picture?’” Radziwill claimed on Heather McDonald’s “Juicy Scoop” podcast Thursday.
The former “Real Housewives of New York City” star admitted that she was taken aback, but he doubled down and told her, “Who do you think took the picture at The Regency?”
Radziwill, 59, alleged that Cohen, 56, was “friends” with Frankel’s late former fiancé, Dennis Shields — who died in August 2018 — and the former attorney sent the snap to Shields, who then shared it with the “Apprentice: Martha Stewart” alum, 52.
“So he [Cohen] was talking about Dennis and then he started talking about Tom, and he said, ‘I took the picture,’ and I was like, ‘The picture that was on [‘RHONY’]?’ And he was like, ‘Yeah, I took it,’” she continued.
Radzwill summed up the bombshell revelation, saying, “Michael Cohen had taken the photo that ended up being forwarded to Bethenny and ended up being on the show,” while also emphasizing that this is all “alleged.”
“It just literally sat at my table I was like, ‘This is nuts,’” she continued. “I thought actually production had set something up, but in a million years I would not have thought Michael Cohen was going to sit down at that dinner and tell that whole story.”
However, a source close to Frankel told Page Six, “Who cares? Carole Radziwill has talked extensively about her journalism career. Maybe she should call Michael Cohen.”
Radziwill previously alleged that Frankel’s claims about her friend coincidentally being at the swanky hotel bar on a weeknight and sending her the bombshell photo were untrue and said the whole thing was a “total setup.”
“Bethenny knew this woman and found out that she was in contact with Tom. And Bethenny was like, ‘The next time you go see him, text me.’ And that’s what happened,” she said in Dave Quinn’s “Housewives” tell-all book, “Not All Diamonds and Rosé,” in 2021, referring to the woman who was seen kissing D’Agostino.
She added, “She certainly didn’t just happen to have a friend at the Regency at 10 [p.m.] on a Tuesday night when Tom just happened to be there kissing some chick he used to bang.”
However, Frankel vehemently denied that she “set up a photo of Tom cheating on Luann.”
Can’t get enough ‘Real Housewives?’
“How could I set up a photo? Am I in a movie I’m casting? Like, ‘Hey Tom D’Agostino, I’d like to cast you in the role as cheater at the Regency Hotel?’” she said on an October 2021 podcast of her “Just B with Bethenny Frankel” podcast.
“So in this case, I’m a casting director that called Tom D’Agostino — who I don’t f–king know — to say, ‘Listen, I know it sounds weird, I just want you to be in a bar and make out with somebody because I have a photographer who’s going to be standing by to take a picture. Then I’m going to give it to everyone on the show,’” the Skinnygirl Margarita founder continued.
Frankel’s rep didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
De Lesseps, 58, and D’Agostino, also 56, did end up tying the knot on New Year’s Eve 2016, but they divorced seven months later.
Meanwhile, Frankel and Radziwill were previously best friends before they had a tumultuous falling out during Season 10 of “RHONY” in 2018. They have yet to repair their friendship.
