Dr. Jason Diamond knows the secrets behind some of the world’s most famous faces.
As a sought-after plastic surgeon, he’s worked with the likes of Kim Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen and Katy Perry over the years, creating what he describes as a “safe space” in his office for top models and chart-toppers alike.
“One of my employees always says that I have an invisible signature, and that’s how you know it is one of my patients,” the LA-based expert tells Page Six Style.
“I work on the most recognizable faces in the world, and my job is to make them look better, or ageless, while not making it obvious what they’ve done.”
As for how he helps A-listers do just that? In addition to his in-office procedures, the former “Dr. 90210” star recently launched Metacine, a “medically inspired” skincare line based on his in-office InstaFacials. (“My patients tell me that their regular InstaFacials are their secret to youth,” he says.)
While the original treatment involves “laser technology, PRP injections, microneedling and patented collagen infusion,” his brand offers an at-home product duo he sees as “the most important steps of [his] patient’s” skincare routines: the InstaFacial Plasma ($200) — designed to apply in the morning post-cleanser, so “the growth factors are maximally absorbed” — and the Emulsion ($350), which he instructs patients to “immediately [layer] over Plasma” at night and “only use moisturizer” over it if needed.

But not everything in his arsenal comes from his own brand; Dr. Diamond’s also a fan of the “quality” Cicalfate+ Restorative Cream ($28) and Lip Balm ($20) from French drugstore brand Avène — although he generally warns “there is such a thing as too many [skincare] steps; you want efficacious products that the skin can absorb.”
The in-demand doc brings a similar less-is-more philosophy to his plastic surgery work, saying the biggest mistake he sees people making is getting “way too much” done.
“My patients know that I will never recommend anything that is extraneous or excessive,” he explains, adding that “for surgery, the right artistic eye and skilled hand need to be employed to not look over-pulled or tight, which in turn makes a patient actually look older.”
To determine the best course of treatment for each client, Dr. Diamond’s first consultation involves getting acquainted with the patient’s lifestyle and “aesthetic goals” and snapping photos to “study the relationship and balance between each feature and what would bring the most harmony between them.”
As for the trendiest treatments right now? Those designed to “reverse ailments like sun damage,” as well as procedures related to the recent popularity of certain weight-loss drugs.
“With the weight-loss craze activated by semaglutide and tirzepatide, patients are losing fat, soft tissue and lean muscle in their face as well,” he says, adding that he’s performing “a lot of signature Diamond Facial Sculpting and Diamond Non-Surgical Facelift” treatments “to lift and sculpt non-surgically” — plus “a lot of Mini Facelifts for patients who have lost a lot of weight from the medication.”
While trends come and go, however, one thing’s for sure: Dr. Diamond himself has long reigned as one of Hollywood’s most celebrity-loved plastic surgeons, racking up rave reviews on social media from stars like Chrissy Teigen — who once declared there’s “no shame in my dr diamond game” — and Kourtney Kardashian, who’s snapped selfies from his office.
Even so, Diamond doesn’t “expect” stars to be transparent about what work they’ve had done.
“Although I love to see it for the widespread community to know that almost everyone is having something here and there, it’s a very private matter — the face is very personal,” he says.
After all, at the end of the day, he wants his patients to “feel comfortable and at home” in his office — even when it’s home to some of the industry’s biggest names.
“[Once] I was performing Diamond Facial Sculpting on a patient and Top Hits was playing on our office sound system,” he recalls.
“Her song came on, as it was No. 1 across all the charts — and there she was, sitting in my chair. I’d have to say that was a moment.”
