Boom clap … they’re engaged!
Charli XCX and The 1975’s George Daniel are engaged after one year of dating.
The “Break the Rules” singer cryptically announced the exciting news on Instagram Tuesday, captioning the post, “charli xcx and george daniel f–king for life!!!”
The slideshow included an image of the pair sharing a kiss and one of a diamond ring in a box between two cups of tea.
Charli’s record label, Atlantic Records, also confirmed the news on Twitter.
“Major congratulations to @charli_xcx and George Daniel on their engagement,” the company tweeted.
Charli — born Charlotte Emma Aitchison — and Daniel were showered with love from several stars in the comments section of her post.
Daniel’s bandmate Matty Healy wrote, “I cry🥺.”
“😍😍,” added Paris Hilton.
“skeeeyeeee 👏👼👏🥹,” commented singer Kim Petras.
“aaaaaaahhhhh!!!!!!!!! LOVE THIS!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ congratulations lovebirds!!!!!” wrote singer Dua Lipa.

Charli, 31, and Daniel, 33, first sparked dating rumors in March 2022 when they were spotted holding hands while out together in New York City.
The drummer was in town at the time to support his girlfriend as she made her debut on “Saturday Night Live.”
That June, Page Six exclusively obtained photos of the pair getting hot and steamy while on their Italian vacation.
The “Boom Clap” singer and her beau were snapped packing on the PDA while cuddling closely together on a boat out on the Amalfi coast.
They hugged and kissed and, at one point, Daniel had his hands on Charli’s breasts as she sat between his legs.
Charli wore a tiny black bikini for the romantic outing, while Daniel opted to go shirtless with his navy blue swim trunks.
Before they began dating, the musicians collaborated on a track called “Spinning” in March 2021.
